The yearning for trade unions to devise means of sustaining the union rather than depending solely on income from check-off dues made the Association take the bold step of letting out one of the floors of the National Building located at 32, Isaac John Street, Igbobi, Fadeyi, Lagos. Part of its resources was also channeled to the building of Hostels for Students in Higher Institutions in order to shore up the dwindling income occasioned by incessant redundancy. It took steps to start a pioneer project at Kwara State University, Malete, Kwara State which was commissioned on 13th October, 2017; the second hostel located at Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi, Edo State was commissioned on Friday, 26th October, 2018 while the third one situated near Federal University, Oye-Ekiti, Ekiti State was commissioned on 16th October, 2020.
